Fun says, "I think this is from the Sages of old, 'Give a man a fish and you feed him a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for life.'"

We all know that the ultimate charity is to help people to be able to support themselves. Yet, the most prevalence concept of charity is donation, which usually ends up as feeding the poor people for only a day. There's another concept of charity known as microfinance loan.

Upon hearing the word "loan", you might think that this is not a charity. However, if you think deeply enough, by giving a loan, you help the person to commit himself to growth and expansion. With this loan, the person can start a small business which will generate income for him. Thus he will be able to feed himself for life and he will also be able to return the loan, which you can again use to help another person. Isn't this beautiful?
